SAM Morris has recently represented the West Midlands Regional basketball squad in the inter-area tournaments at Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Shropshire.
The 14-year-old Pershore High School student did exceptionally well to be one of 12 picked out from a squad of 180, and was in a team that won three of their four games.
His potential in the sport is highlighted by the fact that the event is used by England coaches as a showcase for boys in preparation for England Cadet-ships.
