DESPITE stopping their opponents crossing the try line with the elements in their favour, Prince Henry's crashed out of the Daily Mail Schools Under-15 Cup last Wednesday.
Hosts Coundon Court Community College provided a storm of their own with four second half tries - all scored by an interval replacement!
"The three lads they brought on at half-time were better then the ones that they replaces," said disappointed teacher John Cox.
Playing with the wind and rain behind them the Evesham visitors were more than happy to trudge off at half-time with neither side having scored.
"I would have been happy to turn round ten points down," Mr Cox admitted honestly. "But we played really, really well and still lost and I am a bit disappointed because the boys worked extremely hard."
The school's Under-18 team will visit South Bromsgrove HS in the Plate competition - the final of which is at Twickenham - on a date to be arranged.
The winners will be on the road again - before the end of this month - having been paired with King Henry VIII.
