FASHION TREAT: Chipping Norton School Association presents a fashion show on November 17. Clothes for the evening will be supplied by local retailers, New Look, Top Marks and Henry's Menswear and will be modelled by staff and pupils. The fun starts at 7pm, with tickets costing £2.50, available from the school office.

PRINTMAKERS PRINTS: You can now see a display of work by the Oxford Printmakers Co-operative at the Theatre Gallery until November 19. The exhibition includes etchings, dry prints, collagraphs, screenprints, lithographs and mono prints and the work is an exciting variety of subject and style, with vibrant colours. The gallery is open Monday-Thursday 10am -1pm, admission is free.

CHORAL TREAT: Two masterpieces of the English choral tradition will be performed at St Mary's Church, Charlbury, on November 18. Performances of Howell's Requiem and Taverner's Western Wind Mass, will be given by the North Cotswold Chamber Choir. The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £7.50.

HELPING HAND: A fund-raising raffle will be held in the foyer of the Co-op on November 16, in aid of Adam Simms, to enable him to purchase a new splint for his paralysed arm. There will be a selection of good prizes and a chance to donate some money for this worthwhile cause.

HISTORY MEETS: The History Society meets next Monday, when the theme will be English Churches. The meetings are held in the Methodist Hall, starting at 7.30pm. Refreshments are available.

HORTICULTURAL BLOOMS: The Horticultural Association holds its AGM next Wednesday. This will be followed by slides of Chipping Norton in Bloom. The meetings are in the Lower Town Hall and start at 7.30pm. New members and visitors are warmly welcome.
