WEDNESDAY CLUB: After the distribution of birthday cards, four new members were welcomed: Mr and Mrs Seddon and Mr and Mrs Simpson.
It is hoped they will enjoy the club.
The evening drive and supper at Wheelbarrow and Castle were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The Christmas shopping trip to Cribbs Causeway takes place on November 22 when the coach is due to leave the village hall at 9am.
Cakes for tea were donated by Mrs Turner, Mrs Bennett and Mrs Wilkinson and served by Mrs Matthews and helpers.
Tea and sugar was given by Mrs Perkins.
Afterwards a bring and buy sale was held which was a huge success due to the generosity of the members who had brought along lots of goodies.
