DROITWICH Rugby Club's title ambitions face a stern examination on Saturday when they welcome Cleobury Mortimer to the Memorial Ground in Midlands Four West (South), kick-off 2.15pm.

Both clubs have eight points from five games this season with the two occupying the first two slots in the division. Droitwich lead the table on goal difference but will be aware of the tough test that awaits them when Cleobury visit.

Cleobury's strong set of forwards will make sure Droitwich have their work cut out in preventing ball getting to their dangerous backs.

For Droitwich, Richard Pedley returns at prop with Jon Andrews coming back at number eight after injury.

Danny Protherough returns at hooker for his first start of the season while in the backs young halfback pairing, Matt Blackmore and Dean Evans continue as do experienced centres Neil Evans and Nick King.

Sascha Hobbs also returns at fullback in place of the injured Simon Mountjoy.
