SATEKI Tuipulotu has been ruled out of Worcester Rugby Club's glamour Tetley Bitter fifth round cup tie at Saracens through injury.

The Tongan injured his ribs and shoulder in training and will not be fit in time for the match according to Sixways' director of coaching Adrian Skeggs.

Worcester make three changes to the side that beat Tynedale on Saturday with Nick Baxter, Tony Yapp and Chris Simpson-Daniel all earning a recall. Out goes Tuipulotu, Ian Calder and Richard Jarman, while former Saracens lock Dan Zaltzman is denied a return trip to Watford because of an ankle injury.

Of the changes, Skeggs said: "It will be a quicker type game and we need pace around the pack that is why Simpson-Daniel is in. We want to give Nick Baxter a run-out because he has looked sharp in training, while Tony Yapp comes in as a goal kicker because of Tuipulotu's absence."

Meanwhile, Simpson-Daniel has been invited to train as part of England's provisional World Cup Sevens squad. The scrum-half has been picked to form part of the squad that will represent England at the World Sevens in Dubai and Durban.

However, the former Wakefield ace has decided to decline the offer because it would involve training this weekend and in two week's time. That would have ruled him out of a trip to Saracens on Sunday.

"I am very honoured to be asked to train with the squad, but after consultation with my coaches I have decided to decline the offer," he said.

Simpson-Daniel added: "I am carrying a few niggling injuries and I want to concentrate on regaining the number nine shirt."

The 22-year-old has already represented England Students at the Students World Cup in Rome and has also played for England Under 21s. He is a student at University College, Worcester.
