I WISH to respond to your story "Furore over home plan" in the November 2 issue.
In my opinion, comments made by councillors at Bewdley Town Council's recent planning meeting imply doubts about not only my own integrity but also that of our Wyre Forest District Council planning staff.
I am personally confident, and so should everyone else be, that all planning applications are dealt with to the highest level of professional standards, honesty and fairness, without fear or favour, no matter who the applicant is.
Drawing our planning staff into these pathetic attempts at political point-scoring by councillors on a diet of sour grapes and still smarting over recent election defeats is contemptible.
