KIDDERMINSTER Chess Club committee members John Wrench, Paul Thomas and Clive Billings are organising an open tournament which will mainly cater for Worcestershire players.
Plans are also underway for the club's centenary celebrations. Meanwhile, Kidderminster's Wolverhampton and District League Division Three side suffered their first defeat of the season when they were beaten 3-2 at home to Stourbridge.
