STEVE Gould was the first Kidderminster Running Club man to finish the opening Birmingham Cross Country League race at the city's Sennellys Park.
Competing in Division Two, he finished 16th in 40 minutes 19 seconds.
Robin Sedman Smith was the next club runner in 42-17, followed by Tom Kenderdine 42-27, Dave Wood 43-35, Rob Chrzan 43-44 and Ian Townsend 45-12 to complete the men's A team.
The B team results were: Gary Bonner 47-02, Gary Warrington 47-05, Mike Clackson 50-08, Pete Turner 50-51, Pete Swift 53-25, Dave Vale 54-11.
Ron Payne also completed the course in 55-48.
