BEWDLEY snooker professional Richard King faces Kidderminster's Terry Murphy, the World No 30, in the Benson and Hedges Championship third round at Malvern today (Thursday).
No 146 King, 26, grabbed his first victory in the competition since 1992 with a 5-1 success over Scott Kearney on Monday and dedicated the win to his grandfather Ernest Edwards who died recently.
He said: "I really wanted to win for my grandfather and to get this victory after so many defeats, I think he must have been looking down on me."
King was watched by former England cricketer Basil d'Oliveira.
