THE company which has salvaged charity work carried out by the Droitwich Furniture Recycling Project is to extend its service in Worcestershire.
Roundabout will continue to distribute second-hand furniture to needy residents in south Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire after the Droitwich company ceased to operate.
But it is now to include household items, toys and electrical appliances in its collections.
Donated goods must be in good condition and comply with fire resistance legislation.
"Items collected are made available to families and individuals who are in need of help," said Bob Pooler, Roundabout manager.
"The recipients' details are passed on by local referral agencies including social services, the probation service, Citizen's Advice Bureaux, women's refuges, churches, health centres, ex-servicemen's organisations and local charities."
Roundabout can be contacted on 01386 833030 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
