ON October 26, Mrs Pauline Wesley welcomed members to the meeting.
The future programme was discussed, the minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
Speaker Ken Hughes, who works for the tourist board, gave a talk and slide show about the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.
He gave a brief history of the area and showed his slides, old and new. He spoke of the Discovery Centre and described the buildings around the area, including St Paul's Church.
Refreshments were served, the raffle drawn and the evening closed at 10pm.
