Redditch Regents 84 Barton Colts 51
REDDITCH'S hopes of fielding the twin peaks of Andy Swift and Lee Dowling were dashed by illness with the latter suffering from flu.
But Bromsgrove and Birmingham Bullets forward Swift did a great job scoring ten on an impressive debut.
Redditch led by six points at the end of the first quarter and by half time had stretched the gap to 39-25 after guard Darren Ling had used three of his five fouls in one play, committing a personal and two technical offences in a controversial decision.
Undeterred, Redditch pressed home their advantage in the fourth quarter finishing with a season's high 34 point victory to take them to three and three.
