POLICE caught two men who stole 46 bottles of whisky from a Droitwich Spa supermarket when they stopped them for speeding.
Wesley Stockley and Andrew Leary caused £100 worth of damage when they broke into Kwik Save, in Saltway, and stole the alcohol on Friday October 27.
On Monday, Worcester magistrates heard they took the items and drove away in a Volvo.
Stockley, aged 21, of Rainhill, Liverpool, admitted burglary, driving at speeds exceeding 70 mph, refusing to stop, driving dangerously, other than in accordance with his licence and without insurance.
Leary, aged 25, of Langbar, Liverpool, admitted burglary.
The case was adjourned until Monday November 20 for pre-sentence reports.
