DROITWICH Spa will be twinkling brightly this Christmas thanks to new decorations worth £14,000.
The decorations and light display were fitted on Monday, ready for the switching on event on Saturday November 25.
Droitwich Spa's Festival of Music and Light will mark the event at 3.30pm. Choirs, a band and handbell ringers will add seasonal cheer.
Salters' Shopping Centre gave £10,000 towards the scheme. Wychavon District Council and Droitwich Spa Town Council also gave cash.
Shopping centre manager Alison Alsbury said: "The Christmas lights working group has had enormous fun making and organising the decorations.
"Many have been made from recycled objects and old decorations. I think they look great."
