A BUSY town road is being given a smart new appearance costing £11,500.
Wychavon District Council will fit a 55-metre stretch of railings in Queen Street.
Galvanised iron railings were put up two years ago, along with decorative bollards, hanging basket columns and paving, but the row was never completed.
Wychavon's town centres manager, Lew Hammond, is overseeing the work. It is set to begin in the next few weeks.
He said: "The railings will give the street a much improved and finished appearance."
