FAMILIES will honour wartime veterans and the soldiers who paid the ultimate price for freedom during this Sunday's Remembrance Parade.

Residents can join in the procession which starts in Station Street at 10.15am.

It makes its way to Victoria Square where the service will begin with the hymn O God Our Help In Ages Past.

This will be followed by a two-minute silence to remember those who gave their lives for their country during the world wars and conflicts since.

Wreaths will be laid and after final prayers, a special service will be held at St Andrew's Church, in St Andrew's Street, at 11.15am.

There will be a civic reception at the Heritage Centre, St Richard's House, in Victoria Square, to bring the ceremony to a close.
