MEMORIES of Alvechurch from 1920-1960 have been captured in a book compiled over an 18-month period by three village women.
The Snapshot of Village Life in Words and Pictures will be given an official launch in Alvechurch Baptist Church hall on Saturday, November 18.
Book compiler Lorna Sage said she and two friends decided to complete the book because it was a topic many people were interested in.
The book costs £7.99 and will be available from the Red Lion Street venue from 10am-2pm.
