REDDITCH councillors finally agreed to adopt a system to allow the public their say at planning meetings after debating the subject at length for the second time.
The proposal to let people speak for three minutes on planning issues had already been passed by the planning committee.
But during a full council meeting on Monday, Councillor Carole Gandy wanted to see the decision postponed until members had visited a neighbouring authority which already allowed people to speak.
The proposal was passed after a vote and from November 21, the public will be allowed to speak at planning meetings for a trial period of six months.
