ALCESTER skipper Andy Flynn has admitted it's win or bust time for his beleaguered charges as they visit bottom club Pinley on Saturday (ko 2.30pm).

The Coventry-based side are the only team below Alcester in the Warwickshire One after losing all six matches and shipping 171 points.

It's early days but if we don't win on Saturday we will be staring relegation in the face, said the injured captain.

If we don't beat clubs at the bottom we will make life so much harder for ourselves, it's crucial we win.

Alcester have only two points after one win in seven and a run of four consecutive league defeats and are hoping to cut a three point deficit on fourth-from-bottom Spartans.

The battered side, who lost 15-12 at home to Birmingham Medics on Saturday, are boosted by the return of a number of key players.

Second row Mark Kilbride is available after serving a two match club suspension and joins flanker Paul Clarke and centre Chris Hall who returned at the weekend.

Flanker Mick Weaver played for an hour after a knee injury, replacing flu-hit prop Andy Foster, who hopes to return at the weekend.

Second row Darren Craig hopes to be recalled on Saturday after an ankle injury but there is a doubt over the availability of fellow second row and coach Chris Burgess.
