GARRINGTONS settled the quicker and took the lead through Richard Pincher.
Fairfield came back into the game and ten minutes before the break scored when a move by Richard Hammond and Waine Devey ended with Luke Thomas driving the ball home from 18 yards.
The second half started with Fairfield putting Garringtons under pressure and both Chris Pinfield and Devey went close. Garringtons took the lead when stand-in keeper Paul Newbov made an excellent save only to see the ball rebound off his own player into the net.
A bad defensive mistake let in Craig Riley to increase Garringtons lead. Fairfield continued to battle and pulled a goal back when Hammond found Pinfield, who beat his marker before firing a low shot into the far corner of the net.
In the final minute, Garringtons increased their lead when Kevin Banner scored after Newbov had saved Riley's shot.
