EMERGENCY services across the Vale and the rest of south Worcestershire are bracing themselves for more floods as water levels start to rise again.
Reports from the Environment Agency and Worcester Police this morning say water levels are rising on the River Avon at Evesham as well as the Severn and the message is that people should not make unnecessary journeys either this evening or tomorrow morning.
Press officer Fiona Harrison said: "Motorists are also asked to heed diversions and be patient - flood and diversion signs mean the road is not passable."
As well as localised flash flooding and spray, roads currently closed in the Vale are Cropthorne to Fladbury, Hinton-on-the-Green and Eckington Bridge.
