STOURPORT Swifts are in danger of having to switch Saturday's home FA Carlsberg Vase second round tie with Chasetown to their opponent's ground.
The floods which have devastated Worcestershire have hit Swifts particularly hard.
Their Walshes Meadow ground is right next to the swollen River Severn, and consequently the pitch, clubhouse and stand have all been underwater.
Swifts, who are still assessing the cost of the flood damage, have already called off tonight's scheduled Midland Alliance clash with Bloxwich Town -- it will now be played at Bloxwich tomorrow.
A decision on the Vase tie is likely to be made on Thursday, but Swifts will be happy to switch.
Swifts secretary Nigel Green said: "I have to ring the Football Association on Thursday. They are fully aware of the situation.
"We don't want to have to keep putting the game off. We want to get it played, and everyone is quite happy to go up to Chasetown if necessary.
"The water has mainly gone but there is a lot of debris on the pitch.
"The hygiene factor in the changing rooms is of more concern than the clubhouse."
