EVESHAM United boss Phil Mullen has scooped his second Manager of the Month award of the season.

Mullen won the October prize in the Dr Martens League Western Division after United remained unbeaten during the month and climbed into third place.

It follows his award in August, and he exclaimed: "I had never won an award in 12 years of management and now I have had two in three months. I just hope we don't get the same run of results as happened last time!

"Losing those games in our bad run could have affected confidence because we weren't too far away from winning most of those matches. But all credit to the boys -- they have stuck to their beliefs and had a half-decent month."

Evesham's first round Trophy tie at Ryman League Division One side Leatherhead tonight has been postponed for a second time because of a waterlogged pitch.

The sides will try again at Fetcham Grove next Tuesday, November 14 (7.45).
