A 19-YEAR-OLD heroin addict who had asked magistrates to lock her up to keep her away from drugs has been put on probation for nine months.
Tracey Evans, of Princess Way, Stourport, had been in custody for 12 days while a report was prepared.
She admitted stealing bacon worth £46 from the Co-op in Stourport, and thefts of clothing, dolls and toiletries worth £200 from shops in Worcester.
The Stourport offence happened only five days after Evans was conditionally discharged for a similar offence, said prosecutor Alex Warren.
She admitted breach of the discharge and failing to answer bail.
