PLANS to expand its business activities in five more countries have been announced by a Worcester-based training company.
SITO, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this month, revealed its export figures were at an all-time high - up 46 per cent on 1998's figures.
The Barbourne Road company has already invested £1.3m into multimedia development which it says will help its global expansion.
"By 2005 we want to be a truly international company, generating more than 50 per cent of our income from exports," said chief executive Ray Clarke. "We're the biggest provider of security qualifications in the world, with significant potential for growth.
"We operate in 11 countries on three continents, but we want to expand our coverage into a further five countries this year."
SITO works with international governments and security services and deals with retail and leisure security, parking, fire alarms, intruder alarm engineering, CCTV, investigation, aviation and guarded property transport.
In Hong Kong, its biggest international market, it has produced a management development programme for the former colony's main professional body and struck a deal with its trade association.
