I HAVE just returned from Ronkswood Hospital, my eighth visit since last year. During my stay, I caught another headline in your paper criticising the NHS. Don't you ever print the good news about what really goes on in there?
I have never had a complaint about my treatment. I have watched young nurses and doctors working with dedication and devotion on seriously ill patients. Some are saved and in some cases, some are not, that is life.
I have never seen or witnessed anyone being ignored or left without treatment. To keep criticising these medical staff can only add to their heartache.
Blame the managers if you like, I have never seen one of them in the ward fighting to save some poor wretch's life or ease their pain.
Sometimes the doctors look as if they could do with a bed themselves after very long hours on duty.
I have never been left unattended and never been on a trolley. In fact I have never seen a trolley.
I suggest you print some of the success stories for a change and put these on your front page.
