WORCESTER MP Mike Foster was to meet the man in charge of the county's acute hospital services today, to hear how health chiefs intended to cope with winter pressures.
"I will be asking questions about issues raised in the media," said Mr Foster.
"In addition I will discuss the recent evacuation of patients from Castle Street and comments from a retired doctor, Hywel Williams, over the management of change taking place."
The chairman of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Harold Musgrove, was to brief the MP.
Mr Foster said he hoped to speak with staff during the meeting at Ronkswood Hospital.
"Nobody has gagged them and when I have visited the site previously I haven't been shepherded away from the doctors and nurses," he said.
"A few weeks ago I also spent a day acting as a nurse and was able to gain further insights into the hospital's work as a result."
