First Midland Red will operate a special emergency bus service today from Worcester to St John's via the New Bridge at Powick.
Service 49 was due to operate between the temporary bus depot in the Corn Market and the Bull Ring, St John's, stopping at The Ketch, Bath Road and at the Lower Wick traffic island.
Buses out of Worcester were due to run every half-an-hour until 5.30pm. The last bus in the half-hour service from St John's will be at 6.30pm
Spokesman for First Midland Red Austin Birks said the timetable would be subject to delays if there was traffic congestion on the bypass.
The special service would also run on Monday and Tuesday, if flood conditions still applied.
The first bus will leave the Corn Market at 7.30am, stopping at The Ketch (7.40am), Lower Wick (7.47am) and arriving in St John's at 7.55am.
Coming from St John's, the first bus will depart the Bull Ring at 7.30am, stopping at Lower Wick (7.35am), The Ketch (7.42am) and arriving in Worcester Corn Market at 7.55am.
The fare is 45p for adults and 25p for children.
