A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital in Cheltenham this morning (Friday) following an accident on the A46 Sedgeberrow bypass.
The accident happened at about 6.30am and involved the motorcyclist who was riding a Yamaha bike and a silver Montego car.
It happened at the north end of the bypass by the junction with the old Sedgeberrow and Winchcombe road.
The road was closed for two hours and traffic was diverted through Sedgeberrow.
Police released no information about the car driver and the motorcyclist is still receiving treatment.
