FANS of light opera and popular musicals can see favourites being performed when the Great Witley Operatic Society holds its Golden Moments concert tomorrow.
The society - which performed Die Fledermaus at Worcester's Swan Theatre earlier this year - has an annual performance of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas or classic light operas once a year.
But, in a break from tradition, the society is to give a performance of operattas and popular musicals at All Saints Church, Deansway.
The show, which starts at 7.30pm, is a repeat of the society's sell-out concert of July in aid of Riding for the Disabled.
As it is bits of everything it will a great night out with plenty on offer," said Angela Harris for the society.
It should be a lovely night."
Tomorrow's concert will consist of a selection of songs from the Pirates of Penzance, Iolanthe - the society's production in May next year at the Swan Theatre - Show Boat, Kiss Me Kate and Salad Days.
Tickets, at £4 to include a glass of wine and programme, from Robin Booth on 01905 28088 or on the door.
