ATMOSPHERIC landscapes by up-and-coming artist Paul Kessling have gone on show at Malvern Theatres.
Using French inks on paper, he captures the special qualities of colour and light, especially at dawn and dusk.
"This is my favourite time to paint, when the landscape is transformed and takes on almost magical qualities," he said.
Trained at the Royal College of Art, Mr Kessling began painting the landscape of the Ridgeway after moving to Oxfordshire with his wife and three daughters.
He prefers to work out of doors and has adapted his Land Rover into a studio.
"I am committed to the idea of affordable art," he said.
"I've had paintings commissioned for company boardrooms and even sold work to people who have come across me painting whilst out walking their dogs."
His work will be featured in a new series of BBC television's Home Front Inside Out, to be broadcast on November 21 at 8pm.
The exhibition at Malvern Theatres will run until November 28.
