ON Saturday, November 11, Colwall Players will be holding a Ceilidh Evening at Colwall Village Hall starting at 7.30pm.
Mary Percy will be doing the calling with a live musician. This is taking the format of a genuine Ceilidh with dances and live music "spots" throughout the evening. The ticket cost is £7.50 which will include an "upmarket" ploughman's supper! There will be a bar and a raffle.
Colwall Scouts will be holding a bonfire party tonight (Friday) at Oddfellows, 6.30pm.
The next meeting of the Wyche & Colwall Horticultural Society will be held on Monday, November 6 at 7.30pm. The speaker will be Tim Miles whose subject will be 'Madeira, a gardener's paradise'.
Macmillan Cancer Relief "Guinness Book of Records" Coffee Morning held in September raised a total of £776, including £271 of Christmas cards sold. Thanks are expressed to all who attended and brought gifts and produce for sale.
