Evesham and District Airgun League

GEORGE and Dragon took on last season's league winners Offenham RBL who were much too strong for the new team coming out winners by 32 points, with Garry Lane and Martin Smith both scoring 42. Ady Lewis scored 48 for Offenham.

Hampton WMC played host to Evesham SMC but lost a close match to the visitors with Mar-tin Houghton scoring 47 for Hampton and Doug Littlewood 46 for Evesham.

In the match between Camp-den RBL and Badsey Rec the scores were even closer with a tied match - the first point Campden has dropped this season. Bob Pitcher scored 49 for the home team and Ashley Green 48 for the visitors.

Badsey RBL travelled to Wickhamford SSC and came away with an easy win. Dean Baglin scored 48 for Wickham-ford and Brian Jelfs and Roger Davies both hit 47 for Badsey.

The Lygon Arms were at home to Bidford RBL and ran out easy winners with Keith Harris scoring 48.

John Shrimpton hit 46 for Bidford but this win by 20 points was not enough to prevent Bidford moving to the top of the Handicap League table.
