AMERICAN cellist Dawn Gwilt will give the first performance in Kidderminster Library's third series of lunchtime concerts which begin tomorrow.
She will play works by Popper and Boccherini as part of her hour-long programme, during which she will be accompanied on the piano by her husband John.
Teacher Dawn, who has lived in Worcestershire for 15 years, has performed in Stratford and London and recently at the library as a member of the Trio Maggiore piano trio.
Kidderminster librarian Ron Hoggarth said: "I am so pleased that Dawn can start our new series.
"It is a series that is rapidly becoming an annual event thanks to the generous sponsors, enthusiastic musicians, and an appreciative audience that clamour for more."
The performance begins at 1pm.
For tickets call the library on 01562 824500.
