CROWN Athletic recorded their first Division Four win since the opening day of the Birdseye Sports Evesham and District Sunday League season when they smashed ten past a hapless Mickleton Rangers Reserves.

Crown, who have suffered some heavy defeats of their own, scored through Stanley (3), Williams (3), Vizor (2), Attwood and Johnson.

Broadway United moved to the top of the section with a win over Tewkesbury Town with former county cricketer Martin Weston hitting two of their goals.

Ambassador returned to winning ways after hitting five first half goals against Mountinneers. The home side hit two further goals with the visitors scoring four second half goals. James hit a hat-trick for the winners.

A first half strike from Steve Gittus gave Willersey the points from the local derby with Broadway and took his side to the top of Division Three as leaders Swan Sports crashed to a second consecutive defeat this week to Stratford Yates who scored through Procter, Arthur, Giorgio and Fraser.

Littleton put in another good performance with victory at Bury with goals from Hawtin, Harris and Darren Lynes.

Second Division Ilmington Rangers opened their account for the season with victory at Anchor Fladbury. Cox scored both the visitors' goals with Andrews replying for the home team.

The top two in Division One continue to take advantage of Bretforton VIC's intense cup programme.

Leaders Moreton Wanderers defeated Pebworth with the prolific Matt Winter hitting two of their goals, while Guiting Rangers lashed in five without reply at Inkberrow with Mark Payne hitting a treble.

Tewkesbury Town gained a much needed win as goals from Bury and Driscoll helped overcome Upton Snodsbury.

Mickleton Rangers shared the spoils with Bredon, Burrows gave Rangers the lead before a Baker goal ensured a point apiece.

Both Bretforton VIC and Evesham WMC progressed to the last 16 of the WFA Junior Cup and there were excellent wins in the Minor Cup for Red Horse, Evesham WMC Reserves, Bretforton Old Boys, Offenham Rovers, Plum Tree and Lower Moor United, who found the net 16 times in their tie.
