A WIFE who hit her husband on the head with a bottle or glass in a Bewdley pub has been bound over to keep the peace.
A charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, which had been before Kidderminster magistrates for committal to crown court, was dropped by prosecutor Stephen Harris.
Mandy Morris, 32, of Cordle Marsh Road, Bewdley, had been bitten on the cheek by her husband Colin during a family gathering in the Angel pub, he said.
She retaliated by hitting him but no serious injury had been caused and he did not want the case to go on.
Colin Morris had been dealt with for the original assault, Mr Harris said.
Mandy Morris had reacted when she was physically assaulted, said her solicitor, David Howarth.
The couple were now living apart.
