SO, our MP has made the front page of the Shuttle, saying he is very pleased his pressure has brought a renal unit to Kidderminster.
I wonder how much pressure he got from the stories on Page 3 of the same issue?
Some months ago he wrote he was giving his full support to the safari park in their efforts to get tiger cubs there.
I do not hear of him writing in support of the "no downgrading campaign" for our hospital.
In the renal unit story, county hospitals trust chairman Harold Musgrove said dialysis patients would have less disruption to their work and social commitments thanks to the new unit.
Doesn't he realise other patients have these commitments? They, too, deserve their treatment close to family and friends.
