GLOBE-trotting Kidderminster Running Club's Ron Lynes completed the Lausanne marathon in Switzerland in three hours 27 minutes 56 seconds, coming 505th out of more than 1,200 runners.
Alan Wright was the first Kidderminster runner in the Walsall Flyer five-mile road race in 35-24, followed by Mike Hudson in 36-26.
The first Birmingham Cross Country League race is at Sennelly's Park on Saturday.
