ENGLISH U-13 champion, Lee Page, reached the fifth U-16 final in the Super Kids series in Leicester.
But the Kidderminster player was beaten by European U-19 champion Roger Baksa in the final.
Page still climbed to fourth place in the overall table with two events to play.
In his first U-16 final, Page just failed to win the opening frame and lost 3-0.
Page had beaten Ryan Leonard 3-1, Chris Leake 3-1, George Weyham 3-0, including a 45 break, then former Pontins winner and last runner-up Ben Woollaston 3-0.
