A MEDAL was not about to elude the prolific Chris Holmes despite disappointing individual results in the Paralympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
Kidderminster swimming ace Holmes claimed a silver medal in the 4x100m medley with Darren Leach, Ian Sharpe and Tim Reddish.
Holmes had been targeting a 10th career gold medal but failed to qualify for the 100m backstroke and 50m freestyle finals after finishing fourth in the 200m individual medley and seventh in the 100m freestyle.
