A RECORD £27,000 has been collected for Leukaemia Research by charitable cyclists.
The total for September's North Worcestershire Bikeathon smashed last year's £20,000 and organisers hope the final figure may be as high as £30,000.
A range of prizes for the top fundraising individuals and teams will be awarded soon, and there are smaller prizes for anyone who raised £200 or more.
The closing date for prizewinners has passed, but branches of NatWest will still accept any remaining sponsorship money.
