FECKENHAM manager Clive Campion took advantage of Saturday's weather-enforced postponement to complete more wheeler-dealing.

The Millers boss, who completed the signing of Alvechurch defender Carl Dainter last week, went back to his near neighbours to sign striker Brett Skinner.

Campion tried to sign Skinner in the close season but the forward opted to stay put.

After Skinner failed to hold down a regular place this term, Church manager Mick Preece agreed to waive the 30 day rule on signing players from the same club, allowing the player to join the Valley tenants.

And Campion completed the signing of Studley midfielder Ian Edwards.

The Feckenham boss boosted his options after on-loan forward James Burke was recalled by Redditch United.

Fellow forward Trevor Boot followed Richard Allen to link up with Third Division Fernhill Heath Old Boys after 12 games without a goal for Feckenham this season.

The Millers are set to entertain Highgate tonight (Wednesday, ko 7.30pm) but the match looked in doubt after heavy rain.

Goalkeeper Dave Fletcher was set to return on Saturday despite a niggling back injury but was denied by a waterlogged pitch. On-loan United keeper Mark Shiels has recovered from concussion and defender Matty Evans has shaken off a calf injury.

But stopper Steve Taylor is doubtful with a calf problem.

Feckenham visit Alveston on Saturday (ko 2.45pm) and entertain Nuneaton Griffs on Wednesday (ko 7.30pm).
