Old Hill Town 1 Studley BKL 0
HEAVY rain and blustery wind made conditions difficult, but Old Hill adapted as BKL slipped to defeat.
Town started brightly, forcing Bees' keeper Beasley to make fine saves from Priest and Evans before they took advantage of indecisive BKL play to work the ball up front for Beven to blast home.
It took 40 minutes before the Bees tested home keeper Herrington, forcing him to push away Simon Redhead's flick from Rob Powell's corner.
Two minutes after the re-start, Town nearly added a second, only the woodwork keeping out Shaw's 20-yard free kick.
Cope came close for BKL but his tame shot when clear was easily saved by Herrington.
Beasley again forced two goalbound efforts from Priest wide, while BKL mounted a fruitless late rally.
