A CHARITY-MINDED Bromsgrove business is appealing for a lorry to take much-needed supplies overseas.
Bosses at Crown Eye Care Centre, in Crown Close, which has recently changed its name from Hampton's The Opticians, has a driver ready to take the vehicle to Romania.
It will be crammed full of food, clothes and toiletries which have been collected as part of the Sarah Hampton Trust.
This was set up in memory of owner Michael Hampton's 20-year-old daughter, Sarah, who was killed in a car crash in May and helps Caminul Felix, a charity which provides family units for abandoned children in Romania.
In September, Michael, sales director Ian Robinson and Sarah's friend, Helen Smith, who survived the crash, went to set up an eye care clinic there.
Michael is returning with his daughter Rebecca and holistic therapist Becky Parker, who is based at the business and an optometrist, in December.
Before they go they want to send the container full of provisions and are appealing for businesses to lend them a vehicle. If you can help or want to make a donation or give some supplies call Michael on (01527) 577350.
