REDDITCH player-manager Rob Allen is gunning for a recall against visiting league leaders Stafford on Saturday (1.30pm start).
Allen has been carrying a hamstring injury but played for half an hour in the 1-1 weekend draw at Pershore.
Fellow midfielder Steven Cook is set to continue against the DTZ Debenham Thorpe West Midlands One leaders despite being sent off on Saturday.
Steven was unfortunate, he just had a yellow card after an incident in the heat of the moment, said skipper Jason Spyer.
We've discussed it and decided not to drop him.
With Allen returning to central midfield, Alex Robinson is set to switch to left half to support teenagers Adrian Dudley and Chris Thomas.
Spyer warned his team to prepare for hard work in training tonight (Wednesday) after a poor result on Saturday.
We were over-confident and have to realise we can be beaten, he said.
But I'm confident we can get something from Stafford because we always raise our game after a defeat and particularly against the best sides.
