STUDLEY rally ace Pablo Raybould has been told he is unlikely to be allowed to compete in the Network Q Rally of Great Britain.

Raybould, who has competed in the Kenyan leg of the World Championship, has been placed 14th on the list of reserves for the event.

With 152 entrants in the field, Pablo is last on the reserve list at 167.

Raybould has competed in previous events and swore never to enter again blaming poor organisation.

But with plans to slim down the world championship next season to rival Formula I, Raybould fears this year could be the last chance for amateurs like him to take part.

They want to get the number of entries down so only professionals are competing in powerful works cars, he said.

If I did get in this year it could be the last time a Mini Cooper competes on the British Rally.

The Rally starts with a Super Special stage around Cardiff Docks on Thursday, November 23.

But Pablo should have his fate confirmed by Sunday, November 19th when entrants are invited to do reconnaissance.
