A FIREWORK display will set the night sky alight at a huge bonfire bash.

The event this Saturday begins at 6.30pm and fireworks will be let off from a barge moored on the canal at the basin end, in Hampton Road.

Food and drinks will be up for grabs and a fire-eater, juggler and bouncy castle are among the attractions.

The show has been organised by the Droitwich Canals Trust and The Railway Inn, in Kidderminster Road.

It's the third of its kind and organisers have spent nearly three weeks building the bonfire.

Pub licensee Andy Chard said: "It's going to be our biggest and best to date.

"All the proceeds will go to the regeneration project planned for the canal basin."

Tickets are £2 for adults and free for accompanied children.
