LIFE has been made easier for anglers in Droitwich with 11 new platforms to sling their hooks from.
Wychavon District Council and the Environment Agency arranged for the posts to be sunk into the bed of Heriotts Pool, off Worcester Road.
A Wychavon spokeswoman said the five off-bank and six water-based platforms are part of a £7,000 project to improve the area.
She added: "Later in the year, work will be done on the footpaths leading to the pool making it more accessible."
The work forms part of the authority's parks management plan. The environment agency has stumped up £2,000 for the project and the council contributed £5,000.
