A WOMAN was assaulted as she walked from Droitwich town centre to the Westlands estate.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the attack between 10pm and 10.40pm on Sunday October 22.
The 36-year-old was walking from Ledwych Road towards King George Playing Fields, alongside the Kingsfield Day Service Centre.
A man hit her from the right hand side, causing her glasses to fall off.
She fought back but the offender pushed her to the ground and ran away.
Nothing was stolen but the woman was bruised.
The offender is described as white and approximately 6ft tall.
Investigating officer DC Dee Woolford said: "This is an isolated incident but it has caused distress to the victim."
